Much has been said about breast cancer and the nightmare of a disease that it is. The mere mention of it can understandably elicit fear and panic. Incredibly, more and more organizations, foundations and charities are now trying to raise awareness of this global killer affecting nearly 1 in every 8 women.
Carolina Golf Cars is supportive of efforts to fight breast cancer and help provide answers to questions that have long baffled the sciences and the medical field. It is a proud sponsor of The Carolinas Kickin’ It Challenge – Unite in the Fight Youth Soccer Tournament, a signature club level soccer tournament in Rock Hill that focuses entirely on raising money in the fight against the disease.
In its newest charitable effort, Carolina Golf Cars has donated a customized golf cart for auction during the kickoff party on May 8th, 2015 at the Anne Springs Close Dairy Barn Fort Mill. Proceeds of the auction will go to the Carolinas HealthCare System’s Levine Cancer Institute that works to define the future of cancer care with innovations in research and treatment. The event is also for the benefit of Susan G. Komen Foundation Charlotte, a non-profit organization seeking to bring breast health education, support, treatment and related services to uninsured and disadvantaged people within the area.
