LOWER EMISSIONS, HIGHER PERFORMANCE
Featuring a 13.4 HP electric motor and payload capacity up to 1,246 lbs., the Current LSV tackles any job with ease while helping your campus meet its zero-emissions goals for transportation.
With a footprint smaller than traditional trucks, the Current LSV allows you to get around campus with flexibility and adaptability you won’t get in a van or full-sized vehicle. Its automotive design includes an updated dashboard displaying vehicle health, speedometer, in-car radio, and ventilation systems.
STREET-LEGAL AND LOW-SPEED
The Current LSV meets low-speed vehicle compliant safety standards for the United States and Canada and comes with a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), which means it can be driven on roads posted 35 mph or less. This gives the Current LSV access to more types of roads than a smaller utility vehicle, with gel batteries that contain enough range for a full day of use on campus.

What is a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV)?
SAFETY STANDARDS OF CLUB CAR LSV’S
All LSV vehicles must meet all U.S. federal safety standards (FMVSS 500) which require a registered VIN number, automotive safety windshield glass, safety belts, turn signals, headlamps, brake lights, horn, mirrors, reflex reflectors, a parking brake and a rear view camera. They also must meet state and local laws which can include windshield wipers and warning beacons.
In addition to federal, local and state laws the Society of Automotive Engineers created a voluntary industry standard for LSVs with SAEJ2358 LSV. This voluntary safety standard includes additional detailed requirements.
Club Car LSVs meet not only FMVSS500 LSV standards but also fully comply with the more stringent automotive SAEJ2358 standards with the inclusion of Occupant Protective Structures on all cars.
